Crescience Wingman 600L – efficient LED Grow Light for 80×80 to 100×100 cm
If you are looking for a continuously dimmable full-spectrum LED for an 80×80 grow box (and up to 100×100 depending on the setup), the Crescience Wingman 600L is designed precisely for this practical size: plenty of usable light, clean illumination, and a ready-to-use kit that works straight out of the box.
-
PPF: over 600 µmol/s
-
PPFD: up to approx. 833 µmol/m²/s (depending on distance/reflection)
-
Spectrum: cSpec Enhanced (3500K + 660 nm) for growth & bloom
-
Dimming: continuous – ideal for propagation, veg, bloom (one light, all phases)
-
Construction: 2 FLUXshield XT modules in a frame, plug & play
-
Quiet & cool: passive board design (no fans in the lamp)
- Made in Germany
Why the Wingman 600L works so well for 80×80
For small to medium areas, not only "watts" count, but above all homogeneous PPFD distribution. The Wingman 600L uses two boards in the frame, so you hit the area evenly – a practical advantage, especially if you don't want to constantly adjust height and plant positions. Plus, there's the dimming: You can let the photon quantity grow with the plants, instead of unnecessarily wasting power during propagation.
Spectrum: cSpec Enhanced (3500K + 660 nm) – Growth & Bloom without conversion
The cSpec Enhanced spectrum is deliberately kept universal: neutral white around 3500K for strong, compact growth and additional 660 nm Deep-Red for the generative phase. The result: strong photosynthesis, good leaf development, and a spectrum that also works effectively for fruiting/flowering crops.
Continuously dimmable: more control, less stress
Dimming is a real lever in practice: you control not only brightness, but also temperature, transpiration, and the "pressure" on the plant. This is particularly helpful if you're battling heat in summer or have sensitive young plants during propagation.
Design & Cooling: reduced to what matters
The Wingman series is deliberately built to be functional: aluminum PCBs, clever arrangement of LEDs for clean light distribution, and a design that passively dissipates heat. This minimizes heat build-up directly under the board – important if you need to run it close or have a dense canopy.

Tips & Tricks from Practice
-
Distance as an adjustment knob: Start higher for young plants and dim down – then move closer when the canopy is established.
-
Dimming by phase: Lower for propagation, moderate for veg, higher for bloom depending on goal/temperature – this keeps the climate more stable.
-
Improve uniformity "for free": Clean reflective surfaces in the box (and a tidy interior) noticeably increase usable PPFD.
-
Don't forget air movement: With suitable air circulation, you reduce hot spots on the canopy and stabilize transpiration.
-
Think system, not individual part: A good LED performs best when the hangers, box, and exhaust fit together.

FAQ – frequently asked questions about the Wingman 600L
Which tent size is the Wingman 600L ideal for?
Primarily for 80×80 cm. Depending on the number of plants, training, reflection, and target PPFD, up to 100×100 is also realistic – especially if you hang it a bit higher and optimize for homogeneity.
Can I use the light for growth and bloom?
Yes. The full spectrum with 3500K plus 660 nm is designed so that you don't have to change anything from propagation to the bloom/fruiting phase.
How important is dimming really?
Very important, because it allows you to control light intensity, temperature, and stress levels. Especially in small boxes, this often makes the difference between "it works" and "it works stably."
Do I absolutely need additional fans on the light?
No – the light works passively. What you always need, however, is solid exhaust ventilation and air circulation so that the canopy is evenly supplied.
What does Deep-Red (660 nm) do for me?
660 nm is very efficiently used by plants and is particularly popular in the generative phase because it supports photosynthetic performance and flower/fruit development.
