Cuboo Induction Heater XL – Desktop Induction Heater (up to 100 W) for TEDs, VapCap & Co.

The Cuboo Induction Heater XL is a powerful induction heater for anyone who wants to bring their Thermal Extraction Devices (TEDs) to temperature quickly, reproducibly, and without a lighter. With 30–100 watts of stepless power control, a large coil, and a height-adjustable heating chamber, the Heater XL is an ideal modern desktop induction heater for your home vaporizer setup – especially if you enjoy experimenting with different caps/devices.

Important: Batteries are not included (operates with 2× 21700).

Highlights at a glance

  • Up to 100 W Power – steplessly adjustable from 30–100 W for precise heating profiles
  • Large Coil – high flexibility for many TEDs / VapCap setups
  • Height-adjustable heating chamber – exact positioning for even, repeatable results
  • Replaceable glass tube + ceramic insert – clean air/vapor path, easier to clean
  • Display rotatable 180° – easily readable from multiple viewing angles
  • 2× 21700 removable batteries – strong runtime and power base (cells not included)

Why an Induction Heater?

A good induction heater for VapCap/TEDs eliminates typical lighter problems: no wind, no empty gas, less "by-guess-and-by-gosh" heat. Instead, you get a repeatable setup – and that's a huge advantage when fine-tuning flavor, density, and extraction.

Performance & Heating Behavior: Making good use of 30–100 W

The stepless adjustment isn't just a numerical feature – it makes the XL versatile: Lower power can heat more gently and controllably, higher power provides more speed and reserves. This allows you to adapt the heater to the cap type, room temperature, and your style.

  • Starting point (everyday use): choose medium power, then adjust in small increments
  • If it gets too "hot": slightly reduce power or position the device slightly higher
  • If it takes too long: increase power or optimize heating chamber position

Height-adjustable heating chamber: the underrated game-changer

Many induction heaters fail in practice not due to power, but due to positioning. The height-adjustable chamber helps you consistently place your device in the optimal zone – this makes sessions noticeably more reproducible, especially if you use multiple TEDs or frequently switch between caps.

Glass tube + ceramic insert: clean taste, easy maintenance

The Cuboo Heater XL uses a replaceable glass tube with a ceramic insert. This ensures a neutral, clean vapor path and makes cleaning pleasantly straightforward.

Battery operation (2× 21700): safe & reliable

The Heater XL runs on two 21700 batteries (not included). For stable performance, high-drain cells from a reputable source are recommended. Ideally, use a matched pair (same type, same condition, charged together) and only use undamaged batteries.

Is the Cuboo Heater XL right for you?

  • You use VapCap/TED systems and want consistent results without a lighter
  • You want to finely adjust power (instead of just "on/off")
  • You want a desktop setup that can accommodate multiple devices
  • You value cleaning and a largely neutral vapor path

Tips & Tricks from practice

  • Repeatability: Once you've found your sweet spot setting, note down power + chamber height – saves time and increases hit rates.
  • Start slow: It's better to start with medium power and adjust in 2–5W increments, rather than going "all out" directly.
  • Keep it clean: Clean the glass tube regularly – residues affect the taste faster than you think.
  • Device placement: Ensure your TED is inserted cleanly and straight – small angular differences change the heating behavior.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about the Cuboo Induction Heater XL

Which devices are compatible?
The XL is designed for many TEDs with a metallic cap/heating element. Thanks to its large coil and adjustable heating chamber, it adapts to various lengths/setups. The design and the metallic component that is inductively heated are crucial.

Which power setting should I choose?
A medium power setting usually works as a starting point. Then adjust in small increments: too hot/too fast → slightly decrease; too slow → increase. The goal is a reproducible result without "overheat."

Are batteries included?
No. You need 2× 21700 batteries. For consistent performance, high-quality high-drain cells are suitable (matched pair recommended).

Can I charge the device via USB-C?
Yes, the scope of delivery includes a USB-C cable. For maximum battery care, many users also use an external quality charger, but it's not a must.

How do I clean the glass tube and ceramic insert?
Remove the glass tube, soak it in isopropyl alcohol (70–99%), then rinse thoroughly with warm water and let it dry completely. Carefully clean the ceramic insert if necessary and do not let residues "burn in."
