Dimlux Xplore Series 730W 9X (2.7 µmol/J) – Full-Spectrum LED Grow Light for 100 × 100 cm
If you've ever tried to perfectly illuminate a 100×100 grow tent, you know the problem: it's brutally bright in the middle, drops off at the edges – and in the end, plants are more likely to ride a roller coaster than grow uniformly. This is exactly where the Dimlux Xplore Series 730W 9X truly shines: a modern full-spectrum grow light with high photon efficiency, even distribution, and intelligent dimming – designed for practical everyday use in the tent.
The blend of white and red LED diodes covers both vegetative growth and flowering, while the asymmetrical LED arrangement helps to better illuminate the edge areas. The result: fewer hotspots, fewer "shadow zones," more controllable results – with 730 watts of system power.
Highlights that truly matter in daily use
Efficiency: up to 2.70 µmol/J (high system efficiency for modern horticultural LEDs)
Light & Performance: Why PPF/PPFD is crucial for LEDs
With modern LED grow lights, it's not about "lumens," but about usable plant light. The Xplore 730W 9X delivers a strong Photon Flux (PPF) with very good µmol/J efficiency. This is the combination you want when achieving high PPFD values without unnecessarily converting electricity into heat.
Practically, this means you can precisely adjust the light intensity to the specific phase (seedlings/vegetative/flowering) without immediately causing stress or incurring unnecessarily high consumption.
Dimming & Control
You can control the Dimlux Xplore Series 730W 9X directly on the fixture or (for ambitious setups) via the Dimlux Maxicontroller. This allows you to adjust the light output according to the plant's development:
Dimming Levels: 250W / 400W / 600W / 730W
Control: Dimmer button or Maxi Controller
Note: For control via the Maxi Controller, a separate communication/control cable is often required in practice (optional).

Tips & Tricks (to ensure the lamp truly "delivers out of the box")
Start with dimming: Especially for young plants, it's better to begin with 250W/400W and then gradually increase. This might seem "slow" but saves stress and leads to more uniform growth.
Don't set the distance too close: For a 100×100 tent, min. 25 cm is specified – in practice, 30–45 cm at the start is often more relaxed until the plants are strong.
Check edge areas: If you want to optimize illumination: observe plants at the edge (leaf angle/stretch). The asymmetrical arrangement is designed for this, but each tent reacts slightly differently.
Climate = Performance: Powerful LEDs work best with proper air exchange. Temperature, humidity, and air movement also determine how much light your plants can "process."
Cleverly utilize controller upgrade: With a Maxi Controller, you can manage light schedules, dimming, and (depending on the setup) automated processes much more comfortably – ideal if you want consistently reproducible results.
Keep clean: The protective coating (Conformal Coating) is robust, but dust absorbs light. Occasionally wipe dry with a soft cloth – no aggressive cleaners.
FAQ for Dimlux Xplore Series 730W 9X
Which area is the Dimlux Xplore 730W 9X designed for?
Optimal for 100 × 100 cm (1 m²) in a grow tent. Recommended mounting: minimum 25 cm distance.
Is this a full-spectrum LED grow light for vegetative growth & flowering?
Yes. The spectrum combines white and red LEDs and is therefore designed for all phases of plant development.
How can I dim the lamp?
Via the dimmer button or using a Maxi Controller. Typical levels: 250W / 400W / 600W / 730W.
Do I absolutely need a Maxi Controller?
No. For normal operation, control directly on the fixture is sufficient. A controller is mainly worthwhile if you desire schedules/automation and more control.
Do I need accessories for controller connection?
Depending on the setup, a communication/control cable is needed to connect to the Maxi Controller (optionally available).
How durable is the fixture?
The lifespan is specified as L90 > 50,000 hours – meaning it's designed for long-term operation.
Can I extend the spectrum?
For ambitious setups, optional extensions (e.g., UV-A / NIR) are available to specifically adjust the light spectrum.
What does IP44 mean for an LED grow light?
IP44 is the specified protection class of the fixture. For maximum safety, always mount it properly and protect electrical components from direct water.

Positiv:
- recht hoher Preis
--- Li-Akku nicht selbst ersetzbar(?)
--- Kein Dampfen mit Netzteil / gleichzeitiger Ladung möglich!
Das ist im Gebrauch der Hauptnachteil! Ständig ist das Ding leer.
