Fox LED Lighting Controller – 0–10V Light Control for Spektra Master & Fortis (RJ11/RJ12/RJ14)
If you want to do more than just turn your LED lighting "on/off", but rather dim it precisely, automate it, and safeguard it against heat, the Fox LED Lighting Controller is exactly the right tool. The master controller controls compatible 0–10V (up to 11.5V) LED lights via RJ11 / RJ12 / RJ14 – including a timer, sunrise/sunset simulation, and AutoPilot with temperature & humidity sensor.
-
Integrated light cycle: Daily schedules without an extra timer switch
-
0–10V dimmer control (up to 11.5V): precise power curves instead of coarse steps
-
Sunrise/Sunset: gentle transitions (up to 60 minutes run-out)
-
AutoPilot protection: dims or switches off LEDs automatically if the temperature is too high
-
Sensor included: Temperature & humidity directly visible on the display
-
Scalable: controls up to 25 LED lights (more depending on the driver)

Why the Controller Really Makes Sense in Everyday Use
Many people set LEDs to 100% "somehow" – and later wonder about unnecessary heat, fluctuating conditions, or hectic light changes. With the Fox Controller, you establish a clean photoperiod, dim purposefully, and allow the technology to react to temperature before it becomes critical. This is not only convenient but can also save electricity and make your setup much "quieter" in operation.
Compatibility
- Suitable for 0–10V (up to 11.5V) dimmable LED lights
- Connection via RJ11 / RJ12 / RJ14
- Intended as a control unit for Spektra Master and Fortis systems
Important: This controller is designed for compatible 0–10V LED drivers/LED lights. If your light does not have a 0–10V input or an RJ connector, the controller will be useless – in that case, it's better to check first or filter by "0–10V" in the shop: 0–10V compatible products.
Installation in 3 minutes (Plug & Play)
-
Connect RJ cable (Controller ↔ LED/Driver)
-
Place sensor (not directly in the airflow from the heater/hotspot, rather at canopy height)
-
Set cycle (start time, duration, dimming, sunrise/sunset) – done
AutoPilot: Temperature & Humidity as a Safety Net
The AutoPilot is not a toy: You define limit values at which the controller automatically dims or, in extreme cases, switches off. Especially in compact setups (tent/box), this is a useful safeguard – particularly if you are not constantly present during the day.

Tips & Tricks from Practice
-
Sunrise not too short: 10–20 minutes look more natural than "immediately bright" – many plants react more calmly to gentle transitions.
-
Dimming instead of constant 100%: In the early phase, it's better to start with moderate power and increase it later – this keeps temperature and climate more stable.
-
Place the sensor cleverly: Not directly on the light or in the exhaust air stream. Goal: measure values where the plants "live".
-
AutoPilot as an airbag: Set the temperature limit so that dimming occurs first – and only when it's "really too hot" does the emergency shutdown activate.
-
Timing UV/FR supplementary light correctly: If you work with supplementary strips (UV / Far Red): it's better to control them consciously in time windows, rather than constantly – Search in the shop: UV · Far Red.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Does the controller fit every LED?
Only for LEDs/drivers with a 0–10V (up to 11.5V) dimming input and a suitable connection (RJ11/12/14). If you are unsure: search for 0–10V in the shop or check the driver specification.
What does Sunrise/Sunset really do for me?
You avoid harsh light changes. Especially in the morning/evening, the setup appears "smoother" and temperature peaks are often smaller because the power does not increase abruptly.
How many lights can I connect?
The controller is designed for up to 25 LED lights (depending on the driver, higher numbers are also possible). If you are planning a larger setup, a quick driver check is worthwhile.
How does the automatic shutdown work?
The sensor measures temperature/humidity. At the limit values you set, the controller automatically dims – or switches off the LEDs if it becomes critical.
Can I replace a timer with this?
Yes – the integrated time control handles daily cycles and individual programs, including the dimming curve.
