BloomStar FLUXshield 300L – 100W LED Grow Light for Narrow, Long Areas
Long, narrow growing area? That's exactly what the BloomStar FLUXshield 300L is made for: a rectangular, plug-and-play LED Grow Panel with 312 µmol/s photon flux and high system efficiency. Ideal for narrow grow tents, cabinets, and furniture grows – wherever classic 60x60 panels would mean wasted space.
For rectangular areas: optimal illumination in setups up to approx. 90x45 cm (intensive) and beyond with adjusted dimming/distance
cSpec Enhanced Full Spectrum: for the complete plant cycle (seedlings, growth, flowering/fruiting)
Continuously dimmable: integrated dimmer (10–100%) + option for external control (0–10 V / PWM)
Passively cooled & quiet: no fans, no noise – the slot design reduces heat build-up
Splash protection: acrylic coating on the front
Made in Germany: robust construction, reduced to the essentials, without unnecessary ballast
Why the 300L (rectangular) instead of a square panel?
If your grow box is more "long" than "wide," a square board often results in uneven edges or wasted depth coverage. The 300L features an elongated design (approx. 64 cm), so that photons reach where your plants are – especially in cabinet grows, in 2x4-like formats, or for areas with a max. depth of 50 cm.
However, if you're operating a classic 60x60 setup, the FLUXshield 300 (60x60) is often the more suitable geometry.
The FLUXshield 300L delivers 312 µmol/s PPF with a system efficiency of 2.85 µmol/J. The cSpec Enhanced Full Spectrum is deliberately balanced so you don't have to switch between "growth lamp" and "flowering lamp." In practice, this means compact growth during the vegetative phase and sufficient intensity for vigorous development in small to medium-sized areas.
Reference values from measurements (as a planning basis for distance & dimming):
Distance to leaf tip
Ø PPFD (reference area 80×40 cm)
Note
20 cm
approx. 776 µmol/m²/s
Very intense – useful with high CO₂/nutrient supply
30 cm
approx. 669 µmol/m²/s
Good sweet spot for many setups
40 cm
approx. 583 µmol/m²/s
More safety for sensitive plants, very homogeneous
Note: These are reference values from a realistic measurement environment (walls/ceiling light). In your grow box, reflection, plant height, and air movement play a role – use these values as a starting point and optimize via dimming & distance.
Dimming in Practice – How to Quickly Set the 300L Correctly
Seedlings/Germination: hang higher (e.g., 35–45 cm) and dim more – this avoids stress and "light bleaching."
Growth: moderate distance (e.g., 30–40 cm), increase dimming according to plant reaction – compact growth without unnecessary heat.
Intensive operation: if you want to get very close, work with dimming rather than "full throttle too close" – this usually leads to calmer development.
External control: 0–10 V / PWM is possible – then set the integrated dimmer to 100% and regulate cleanly via the external signal.
Design & Cooling: Built for Furniture Grows and Small Tents
The 300L is deliberately constructed with a minimalist design: high-quality LED components on an aluminum board, slots for heat dissipation, and a large surface for passive cooling. The result is a light that is pleasant to operate even in confined spaces – without fan noise and without excessive heat build-up.
Suspension (rope ratchets/heavy-hangers depending on batch)
Tips & Tricks for More Yield in Narrow Spaces
Keep light even: In narrow boxes, neatly centered hanging is worthwhile – this fully utilizes the rectangular illumination.
Heat is usually an air problem: If it gets hot at the top: increase airflow above/below the board instead of running the lamp "too weak." You can find suitable components under Exhaust Fans and Circulation Fans.
Stay discreet: For odor-neutral exhaust air in indoor setups, combine with an Activated Carbon Filter (sized to match the box).
Clean power supply: No flimsy adapters. If you want to set up your system properly: choose Cables & Plugs suitable for the load.
Hanging = Adjustment screw No. 1: A stable suspension makes fine-tuning easy – see Light Suspension.
Setup inspiration: Suitable tents and cabinet solutions can be found in the Grow Tents category.
FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about the FLUXshield 300L
Which area is the FLUXshield 300L ideal for?
For narrow, long areas – typically up to approx. 90x45 cm for intensive use. In less intensive setups or during growth, more area is also possible if distance/dimming are appropriate.
Can I cover the entire plant cycle with it?
Yes. The cSpec Enhanced Full Spectrum is designed for seedlings, growth, and flowering/fruiting – without changing lamps.
Is the lamp noisy?
No. The 300L is passively cooled and operates without fans – making it virtually silent.
How close can I get to the plants?
That depends on the plant, climate, and dimming. As a starting point, 30–40 cm is often uncomplicated. If you want to get closer, work with dimming rather than "full throttle at 20 cm."
Can I control the 300L externally?
Yes – it is 0–10 V/PWM compatible. For external control, set the integrated dimmer to 100% and then regulate via the external signal.
Is it protected against moisture?
The front is splash-protected by an acrylic coating. However, you should still avoid direct moisture/jet water.
What is the difference to the FLUXshield 300?
The 300L is rectangular for narrow, long areas. The FLUXshield 300 is geometrically designed more for 60x60 setups.
Where can I find shipping and delivery information?
All details on shipping, transit times, and conditions can be found under Shipping Information.
How do I clean the LED surface correctly?
Only when necessary and carefully: brush off dry or spot clean with cotton swabs. Do not use aggressive solvents and do not wipe large areas with a cloth.

Positiv:
- recht hoher Preis
--- Li-Akku nicht selbst ersetzbar(?)
--- Kein Dampfen mit Netzteil / gleichzeitiger Ladung möglich!
Das ist im Gebrauch der Hauptnachteil! Ständig ist das Ding leer.
